Para quando é necessário alterar a meta informação do IIS existe esta tool da MS que dá muito jeito.

Eu uso regularmente isto quando tenho problemas a puxar solutions que estão em source control, e o IIS fica meio baralhado.

Uma grande variedade de aplicações e tools excelentes para o everyday programmer/coder/administrator.
Hoje usei pela primeira vez esta: Active Directory Explorer v1.0 :), very nice... que podem ver que é uma das mais recentes a ser disponibilizada.
